自分よりも下級カーストに属する少女にラブレターを書いたインドの少年が、髪を刈られて通りを引き回された上、列車に投げ込まれて殺害されるという事件が起きた。ビハール州の警察が２０日に明らかにした。

　警察によると、登校途中に相手のカーストメンバーに拉致されたManish Kumar君（１５）は、髪を刈られた上、母親が慈悲を懇願する中、列車に投げ込まれた。

　この事件でこれまでに、１人の男が逮捕され、警察官１人が停職処分となっている。
